Why is he my hero ?

Synyster Gates inspired me a lot, that's why I started to play guitar. He has got his own style, very fluent, fast, and emotional. I try to learn all his compositions to improve myself, to reach his level. Now that I play music with a group, a lot of my work in the composition of songs is directly inspired by him. He is also a very good live player, with the insurrance and the class. I wish I could be as good as him one day.

Who is Brian Haner Jr ?

Brian Elwin Haner Jr, also known as Synyster Gates is the lead guitarist of the metal band Avenged Sevenfold. He was born in 1981 in California. He started to play guitar when he was 14 at the Mayfair High School, and finished his studies at the Ocean View High School after he moved house. When he was 18, Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, the drummer of Avenged Sevenfold, called Synyster Gates and asked him to become the lead guitarist of the group. He is one of the best metal guitarist nowadays, and won several awards, as a Revolver Golden God as best guitarist of the year, with his friend Zacky Vengance, rhythm guitarist of the group.
